What is YOUR Solution to Pollution Liability? - IL

Whether you are in the construction or manufacturing industry, finding a solution to the liability resulting from pollution can be a confusing and daunting task. What if you sold your plant only to find out later the property was contaminated? Do you maintain historical insurance records in case of a pollution claim? Are you fully prepared for a potential environmental audit? If you are performing work on a job site, what pollution conditions are covered?

Please join us for an in-depth discussion, including four case studies:

  • Case Study #1: Sale of a Business
  • Case Study #2: Archiving Records
  • Case Study #3: Environmental Compliance and the IEPA
  • Case Study #4: Pollution Liability Coverage

Guest Speakers

Jeffrey D. Jeep, Partner, Jeep & Blazer, LLC
Jeff manages the transactional and administrative areas of Jeep & Blazer. Jeff has a breadth of experience in dealing with environmental laws across the United States and Canada, at the federal, state/provincial and local levels of government. More than providing a depth of knowledge in the field of environmental law, the variety of Jeff's experience has contributed to a strategic insight, a skill in navigating through complexity to achieve the client's objectives in a cost-effective manner. His experience in government makes him equally sensitive to the perspective of the policy maker and politician. The successes on behalf of clients has been due largely to Jeff's ability to identify, and reconcile, competing points of view.
